Transmission dates for Motive's new series No Place like Home Confirmed

Transmission dates for Motive Television’s new series No Place like Home have just been confirmed. This multi-cultural travel series will begin in a high profile Sunday evening slot on January 8th at 7.30pm.

No Place like Home is presented by newcomer Bob Kelly and combines the exotic and the mundane, the local and the foreign. Bob meets the new Irish, the recent immigrants to this country, and goes to their homeland to discover why and what they have left behind. He experiences what it is like to be a foreigner in a strange land armed with a video camera and their family’s address. He spends three days walking in their shoes to discover what is the meaning of home.

Countries visited include the plains of Mongolia, the city streets of Russia and the markets and mountains of Morocco. Back in Ireland the participants work in hospitals, factories, and offices all over the country. They tell us why they came here and why they do, or don’t feel homesick for the place they left behind.
