The Irish of 9/11
Documentary for TV3 about the Irish caught up in the terrible events of September 11th 2001. The programme tells the story of those Irish who lost family and friends in the attack as well as those who managed to escape the collapsing towers.
Man on a Mission
A one off documentary for Setanta Television, Irish Olympian Eamonn Coghlan explores the links between Ireland and Kenyan athletics, telling the story of Colm O’Connell an Irish brother who left Ireland for Kenya in the 70’s and who is now considered to be one of the greatest long distance running coaches in the world.
Area 22
To mark the 2010/2011 rugby season, Motive Television & Asgard Media produced a series of rugby chat shows for TV3 featuring some of Ireland’s best-known players and pundits. Filmed in some of the best Guinness pubs across the country and presented by Matt Cooper, the show was blend of lively banter, conversation and craic with all the latest news from inside the team camp, including exclusive player interviews and packages.
Pilgrims
In this special documentary we celebrate one of the great Irish pilgrimages, the Cheltenham Festival. The programme tells the story of Ireland's greatest Cheltenham successes from Arkle to Dawn Run to Istabraq and examines why this festival is so deeply engrained in the Irish consciousness. Contributors include Hugh McIlvanney, Donn McClean, Philip Fenton and Paddy Power.
