J1 – Summer in the Sun follows three groups of Irish 18-23 year olds as they head stateside on the J1 student visa.  This fly-on-the-wall docu-soap sets out to reveal what really goes on during these “working holidays”.  With a crack team of DV directors, incorporating video diary and confessional blogs, we will gain unfettered access to these fresh faces

 

Part Of What We Are: A Living, Breathing History of the GAA is a major four part series tracing the story of one of the most unique sporting organisations in the world. As the GAA enters its’ 125th year the series, is a timely study of the GAA’s origins, it’s growth and it’s future.

 

Championship Live was the flagship GAA programme for TV3; including an hour pre-match of analysis, features and interviews; innovative match coverage with a specific fan reaction camera and player camera, unrivalled statistics, reporters inside both camps and fan-focused informative half-time and post-match analysis.   The series was a co-production with Asgard Television. 

 

Níos Gaelaí .. More Irish is a four part series whereby four recently arrived immigrants to Ireland are challenged to learn the native tongue and immerse themselves in the local culture. Can they become more Irish than the Irish themselves?

 

THE OPENING HOUR is a specially commissioned documentary that celebrates the moment when Ireland unites in sport - as Irish soccer and rugby teams play internationals at Dublin’s historic Croke Park Stadium. The programme dips into the personal perspectives and experiences of a range of people from Keith Wood to Kevin Doyle to Seamus Mallon to Joe Brolly.

 

NO PLACE LIKE HOME features presenter Bob Kelly meeting immigrants recently arrived in Ireland. He then travels to their homeland to find out what they left behind.. Thought-provoking and entertaining, this series offers an original multicultural twist on the travel genre because sometimes you have to go to the ends of the world to learn the true meaning of home.

 

MICHEÁL: THE SOUND OF SUNDAY is a one hour documentary celebrating the unique impact of Micheál O Muircheartaigh on the Irish sporting public. Following him over the course of a Summer, the programme captures the renowned rhythm and music of his commentating style as well as his compelling talent for storytelling.
