Motive Television has been awarded an IFTA at Saturday’s 2012 IFTA’s ceremony in Dublin. The award is for Best Sports Documentary for “Man on a Mission”.

The one-off programme follows World Athlete of the Year David Rudisha and his coach Brother Colm O’Connell. Produced by Jamie D’Alton and Anne McLoughlin, the programme is presented by Irish athletics legend Eamonn Coghlan and directed by award winning documentary maker Maurice Sweeney.

This is Motive’s third IFTA, having previously won IFTAs for sports documentaries “Marooned” and “The Sound of Sunday”.
